According to the health expert, thyroid hormones are essential for normal functioning of body parts.

1. Hyperthyroidism
Hyperthyroidism is prone to atrial fibrillation, osteoporosis and fracture. The most common cause of thyroid problems is autoimmune thyroid disease (AITD). It is a hereditary condition. In which the immune system produces antibodies. It stimulates the thyroid glands to make more hormones.
Symptoms of Hyperthyroidism:-
Hyperthyroidism symptoms include weight loss, dry and clammy skin, insomnia, depression, poor memory, experiencing tremors, nervousness, warm hands and feet, heat intolerance, anxiety, Chronic fatigue, Light menstrual periods and Frequent defecation.
2. Hypothyroidism
Hypothyroidism occurs when the thyroid system becomes under active and produces lower thyroxine than what is needed for the smooth functioning of the body.
